Because of the COVID-19 people are wondering, “Are we in the Great Tribulation?” And with good reason. There are also earthquakes, a plague of locusts, and a Great Depression that will see many companies go out of business, many jobs lost, and people in desperate need. There is also a famine in Ethiopia, and drought in several other nations. Famine will be coming to several other nations. So, the short answer is, yes, I believe 2020 was the first official year of the Great Tribulation which will last for 8-10 years. So there is much more suffering on the way.
Mike Evans was having breakfast with David Wilkerson at the Embassy Suites near the Dallas Fort-Worth Airport in 1986 when David told Mike:
“I see a plague coming on the world and the bars, church, and government shut down. The plague will hit New York City and shake it like it has never been shaken. The plague is going to force prayerless believers into radical prayer, into their Bibles and repentance will be the cry from true men of God in the pulpit. And out of it will come a third Great Awakening that will sweep America and the world.” (on Mike Evans’ website)
In the article I quoted above, Mike points out that right after the first Great Awakening there was the American Revolutionary War, then not long after the Second Great Awakening there was the US Civil War. He sees war in our future. He is right.
I have been warning people since 2015 that another US civil war is coming. But with the first edition of the book, The Fall of Babylon the Great America, I did not know who would be responsible for the war.
But as time has gone by, we can see where the war is coming from, the Democratic Party has been taken over by Communist/Socialists who want total control of America and will stop at nothing until they get total control.
They tried to remove a duly elected president, and in fact, the Deep State murdered JFK because he did not want war with South Vietnam and was going to disband the CIA.
UPDATE: 3/12/22
It is likely that the war in Ukraine will grow into a European war, then a civil war in the US will happen. The European war will grow into WW3. At some point, based on the prophecies and analysis in my books, while we are in a civil war the US will be invaded by China and Russia.
I suspect that when the US starts arresting and imprisoning Christians that will be when the Trumpet judgments take place: a giant tsunami that will wipe out the east or west coasts of North and South America, and to a lesser degree West Africa and Europe (if it is in the Atlantic).
The Taliban will soon begin invading the nations north of them (see Book1 ) uprooting three nations from the Common Wealth of Independent States (CIS). They will continue adding horns until there are 10 and they become the beast of Revelation 13.
